According to a study published in the American Journal of Public Health, 1 in 2 kids is underhydrated¹. Underhydration impacts kids far beyond thirst. A recent review of studies on hydration² suggests that underhydration may have a negative impact on cognitive development and school performance.
So how can you tell if your child is properly hydrated?
An easy test to check if your kid is hydrated is to look at the color of their pee. If your child's pee is dark yellow, they may be underhydrated. A transparent color indicates proper hydration. We created a pee scale to help you keep track and know when to hydrate!
